Nicole had the awesome idea of having her picture taken in a formal dress, pitching softball. We had the awesome fortune to have a mostly cloudy day with soft even light, and all that awesomeness combined to make these awesome pictures. Let's all say awesome, shall we??

These are one of a kind, gallery-wrapped canvas prints with multiple images on them. Their design is EXCLUSIVE to Calotype. They're so new they're not even on the price list, and people are already buying them!
Presenting below, in order, the MADISON (4 Images, 18x21 finished size), the ART SERIES (4 Images in a row, 12x30 finished size) and the RICHARDSON (7 Images, 18x36 finished size).

Teagan Bray: Goodman, MO
Teagan's a senior at McDonald County.
It was so cold and blue for the outdoor part of her Session, that I decided to capitalize on the look. Instead of warming up the color temperature like I usually do in post-processing, I pulled the color temperature down, slightly, and pulled back some of the saturation. It contributes greatly to the worn, vintage feel of the outdoor photos.

Sneak Peek: Teagan Bray, Goodman, MO

Jack is back
Back in front of the camera, that is. Almost six months old! He wasn't feeling very good (nasty cold!) so I didn't get any glorious smiles. He did, however, raise a dubious eyebrow.

Jaimee Shields: Anderson, MO
Jaimee's a senior at McDonald County High.
The studio part of her session was all north light, California SunBounce reflector only. Her session had an outdoor option, so we went to Anderson's city hall. Natural light only, reflector again. There was hardly any shade by the tracks, so I backlit and bounced reflector light into her face. Sweet hair light, thankyouverymuch. And special thanks to my impromptu reflector holder, Heather. :)
