"Little Models" Blake Barrett: Noel, MO

Blake is 10 years old and he's the son of Mandy and Brandon Barrett. He brought his racing gear (yes, a dirt bike is part of racing gear!) for his Little Models Session. Blake had some great looks— sometimes serious, but we were able to coax a smile or two from him. :)

Thanks for choosing Calotype, Barrett family!

Audrey Cullers: Anderson, MO

Audrey celebrated her first birthday with a portrait Session at the creek. It just seems like a few weeks ago that we photographed her parents, Robert and Christina, when they were expecting Audrey, and now she's already one year old and finished with our Baby Club! (Sniffle). Goodness. Time flies when you shoot people. :)

We've always loved photographing Audrey. Hopefully, we'll continue to see more of her in the future!

Amanda Miller: Bentonville, AR

We had such a beautiful, sunny day for Amanda's senior portraits. I was delighted to find that one of my favorite spots, a fire escape in downtown Anderson, had been perfectly accessorized by some tall, wavy weeds. :) Weeds can photograph so beautifully!

Amanda is an artist, so she brought some of her artwork and her painting supplies. She had creative outfits and original looks, which always makes for creative, original photographs. Thanks, Amanda, for choosing Calotype to create your senior portraits!

Sarah Stephens and Tim Hopkins: Miami, OK

Sarah is one of the younger sisters of my husband, Jon. One of the benefits of photographing family members is that you can boss them around. :) So like the sweet sister-in-law I am, I bossed Sarah and Tim all around the camera room, and we even stepped outside for a few. My favorite is the last one— who knew a hayfield could be so romantic??

This was Sarah and Tim's engagement Session. They will be married August the 8th in Miami, Oklahoma.

Sierra, Oakley and Brodie: Anderson, MO

We photographed these three siblings in their new home off the outskirts of Anderson. Large windows and plenty of open space, combined with beautiful colors and textured walls, made the home a beautiful place to make beautiful portraits! It was a rainy, dreary day but the sun came out eventually and we were able to capture these images using all natural light.

Sierra, Oakley and Brodie are the children of Ruth and Chris Roessler. Thanks, Roessler family, for coming back to Calotype!

"Little Models" Sydney Stout: Centerton, AR

This little sweetie is our youngest Little Model, at only four and a half years old. She was mature enough, however, to pose, follow directions and pay attention to the photographer. She was so much fun! Sydney is the daughter of DeeAnna Duncan and John Stout.

We'll be posting more "Little Models" Sessions over the rest of the month, so keep checking back for more; but if Sydney's your favorite, let us know by leaving a comment. Noah Mathew: Seneca, MO

Handsome Noah is 14 months old. He was happy to share some of his Session with mommy, as long as they didn't have to sit still! We know sitting for the camera is bottom-of-the-list interesting for little babies, so we were ready to grab these quick moments on camera. Noah is the son of Ashlea and Eric Mathew.

"Little Models" Gracie Epperson: Pineville, MO

We're proud to present our first "Little Models" Session. Gracie is seven years old, and she's the daughter of Ryan and Bridget Epperson. Bridget didn't waste anytime booking her "Little Models" Session, and so Gracie got to be the very first to try out my exciting new props and backgrounds!

Little Isaac is back again for more portraits from Calotype. Look how big he is!

Isaac was a preemie baby, born at 30 weeks, and he's the proud ambassador baby for the Northeastern Oklahoma March of Dimes. (Well, we say he's proud— he probably doesn't actually care, but his mom and dad are proud!)

Isaac is the son of John and Moriah Cook from Miami, OK.

Tara Mulloy: Joplin, MO

All of these cloudy, overcast days we've been having lately have actually made it great for shooting outdoors! For Tara's high-school senior Session we trotted all over downtown Anderson, but thankfully it never actually rained. We had plenty of good, soft natural light. We ended up in our natural light camera room for the last two outfits, so Tara got a great variety of portraits to choose from.

Thanks, Tara and mom Debbie, for choosing Calotype!

High-School Seniors, check out our best special ever: 20% off your Session AND 20% off your portrait order. WOW. Book before June 30th to get the best deal we're offering all year!
