Kirsten Henson: Pineville, MO

Kirsten's an 08 senior at McDonald County High. She brought all sorts of great stuff for her senior portraits, including a pig (her nickname's Porky), her dad's Harley, the bumper of her former Mustang (yeah, she totaled it, and the bumper proudly survives) and lots more.... We had so much fun! Great stuff, Kirsten. We love your ideas!

Kirsten is the daughter of Brook and Melissa Henson (of Henson Trash Service if you happen to notice the name on the dumpster shot below).

Here's a few highlights from the Session.

Fickel Family: Pineville, MO

James and Susan Fickel brought their two boys, Drey and Dayson, for a family Session at Calotype. I loved Susan's color coordination: this is a great example of dressing a family in similar (but not matchy-matchy) clothing. Great job, Fickels! Thanks for choosing Calotype to photograph your family.

Brodie Roessler: Pineville, MO

Brodie celebrates six months of life with another portrait Session at Calotype. Casually cool in his spring duds, he demonstrates one of his many skills for us: sitting up. Way to go, Brodie!

Brodie is the talented son of Chris and Ruth Roessler.

Audrey Cullers: Anderson, MO

Miss Audrey was back for her nine month baby portraits, looking like a sweet little angel in her springtime whites. We love how her dark, dark eyes look against our pink doors. You've got it going on, Audrey. :)

Audrey is the daughter of Robert and Christina Cullers.

Brylee Klotz: Webb City, MO

Brylee is just the sweetest little one-year-old! She was all smiles (a little bit of drool, but mostly smiles) for her first Session at Calotype. We love the digital painting (below) of her with the pearls. Wow. Are we good, or what?

Brylee is the daughter of Michael and Holly Klotz. She's also, interested reader, the niece of Mandy Harmon from Anderson. Everybody's connected, somehow. :)

Cali Sharpe: Neosho, MO

Cali's a senior at Neosho High School. She wanted something "different, not like everybody else." Have I mentioned that's music to my ears? Thanks, Cali and mom Bretta, for choosing Calotype and for liking "different." We're glad to deliver just what you asked for.

Grace and Bella Epperson: Pineville, MO

Grace and Bella are just the cutest little sisters ever! We always love it, any time these two little darlings are in our camera room.

Grace and Bella are the daughters of Ryan and Bridget Epperson, and if you haven't heard: Ryan and Bridget are opening a new children's boutique, Belly Buttons, in the Macadoodle's Plaza in Jane! Isn't it great? Belly Buttons plans to open in late May or June, but you can catch a sneak preview at the McDonald County Business Expo on April 12.

Calotype will be placing prints at Belly Buttons (cute clothes and great photography, what a perfect combination) so we'll keep you posted as the store opens. In the meantime, good luck Bridget and Ryan; and thanks for choosing Calotype to photograph your little girls!

Brianna Jordan: Anderson, MO

Brianna first came to us for a group shot with her friends, then she came back for her senior portraits. She had great outfit variety and SO MANY good images. It was hard to choose, but I posted a few of my favorites below. Brianna goes to McDonald County High School and is the daughter of Bob and Alicia Jordan. Thanks, Jordan family, for coming to Calotype! We had a great time working with you.

Kye Perez: Noel, MO

Kye is only seventeen months old, and like most seventeen-month-olds, he had more on his mind that sitting still for portraits! Fortunately, me and my super-photo-powers were able to capture these few fabulous images before Kye decided to move on to "other pursuits." Lucky Kye— he's also featured as our March image of the month.

Renee Carlin: Rocky Comfort, MO

Renee's another '08 senior from McDonald County High School. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to take portraits— 75 degrees and sunny in March. Of course, it snowed two days later, but we're used to that. :) Renee is the daughter of Gerald and Sharon Carlin. Thanks, Carlin family, for choosing Calotype Photography.

Ryan Whitley: Fletcher, OK

Ryan is an '08 senior all the way from Fletcher, OK (about four hours away). He's also the lucky winner of the iPod shuffle we were offering as a Session incentive back in January/first part of February. Congratulations, Ryan, on winning the iPod shuffle! He's pictured with it, below, along with a few other highlights from his Session. Ryan is the son of Robert and Ranae Whitley.
